Procurement & Logistics Manager

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is onsite in Richmond, Virginia.
This role is contributing to the Electrification - Smart Power - Power Protection product group.
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Supply identification - Global and local - qualifying for technology and sustainability.
*In tune with macro manufacturing and economic trends globally.
*Data analysis and preparing reports on current supply chain and identifying cost out opportunities
*Collaborating with various teams to support ABB's operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.
*Utilizing understanding of customers' needs and ABB's solutions to determine effective solutions for customers, ensuring successful project outcomes aligned with customer requirements.
*Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in supply chain, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, in the United States.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress

The hourly rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications, graduation year and experience. This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
