The Lab Aide will assist the Clinical Research Specimen Processing (CRSP) staff with daily QA/QC, data entry, filing, and administrative support responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Primary/Essential Duties:

    Quality Assurance (QA) of completed laboratory records.
  • Data Entry, scanning, and filing (including Florence eBinders).
  • Researching answers to sponsor and clinical team queries.
  • Routine reporting to study teams.
  • Specimen inventory support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Scope of responsibility:

  • Level of automony:
    • Daily to weekly oversight
    • The incumbent shall work under the close supervision of the Quality Assurance Coordinator for CRSP.
  • Financial responsibility:
    • None


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from High School or equivalent with interest in the sciences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Competency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Familiarity with SmartSheet and/or Florence eBinders

The hourly pay range for this position is from $20.00 to $26.22 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
