Role Overview:


Business Analyst or Business System Analsyt-ERP with a strong background in Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes, will bridge the gap between IT and business stakeholders, playing a crucial role in the development and optimization of our ERP systems. #ordermanagement #P2P #O2C #ordertocash #procuretopay

Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to create comprehensive business process flows, design documents, and standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and manage functional documentation, ensuring a seamless transition to the Applications Support team.
  • Document functional specifications for system enhancements and bug fixes, clearly communicating requirements to the IT development team.
  • Conduct quality assurance and testing for newly developed customizations, ensuring functionality aligns with business needs before deployment.
  • Work closely with the Integrations and Data team throughout project development and testing phases.
  • Provide training and documentation to end users on existing and new system functionalities, fostering user adoption and proficiency.
  • Engage in project discussions to determine timelines, scope, and resource needs for enterprise projects related to ERP and integrated applications.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with key business owners and subject matter experts, regularly reviewing project documentation and milestones.
  • Monitor project progress, documenting status updates, escalating risks, and assisting in issue resolution as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication across all functional areas involved in project activities, including corporate and operational stakeholders.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Agility, Epicor P21, MS Dynamics, Infor, Netsuite, Sage, or other relevant platforms in the commercial distribution industry.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or similar ad-hoc query and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills, with a knack for clarity and precision.
  • Experience with Smartsheet or comparable project management tools.
  • Prior experience in the distribution industry is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly in Visio and PowerPoint.
