Responsibilities

SummitRidge Hospital is seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to provides administrative, logistical, and customer service support. Work in an efficient and accurate manner while routinely performing administrative tasks related to screening/sourcing/on-boarding candidates via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), employee engagement, staff development, record keeping and personnel file maintenance.

SummitRidge Hospital -is a place for Healing and Hope! Our behavioral health psychiatric hospital is in Lawrenceville (about 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta). We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to adolescents, adults, and seniors, in addition to partial hospitalization and other outpatient programs (includes a location in Athens). On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at SummitRidge Hospital. SummitRidge is proud to be a teaching facility that supports local nursing students through our dedicated and tenured nursing team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
* BS/BA strongly preferred.
* Minimum of 1 year recent experience supporting multiple people from a HR administrative capacity.
* Experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred with knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices.
* Ability to prioritize and manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines

* Occassional flexibility to work varied work hours/days in support of training/recognition iniatiatives for staff covering night or weekend.

Position Tasks:

1. Manage on-boarding process via the Applicant Tracking System (ICIMS) utilizing on-line tool in sequence.
2. Review all new hire paperwork for completeness, accuracy, and necessary signatures.
3. Responsible for distributing staff training rosters, room set-up and relevant materials.
4. Create and maintain up-to-date personnel files for employees and interns.
5. HR database management - including but not limited to licensure/certification.
6. Handle background screen information as necessary.
7. Accurately answer and reference supporting documentation related to general HR questions
(policy, forms, benefits, job qualifications) upon request.
8. Copy, fax, mail and route correspondence.
9. Coordinate and confirm interview schedules with candidates, HR Director and hiring
managers.
10. Instruct employees/applicants on how to log-in and complete required testing, on-boarding next steps
and/or may function as a back up resource for HealthStream (computer based learning modules - upon hire).
