Overview

Ferrellgas is looking for a Government Bids Coordinator to join the team! This position acts as a liaison between government and autogas customers and Ferrellgas locations that serve them. The incumbent creates pricing models, generates new business leads, and prepares bid proposals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 2+ years project management and/or contract experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage government and autogas account customers as the main liaison between customer and internal departments.
  • Manage dedicated email inbox daily, responding to customer concerns/questions
  • Anticipates customer needs and proactively identifies solutions
  • Creates economic justification pricing models.
  • Generate and pursue new business leads.
  • Thoroughly read and notate government/autogas contracts
  • Prepares, submits, and monitors bid documents to meet deadlines
  • Manage implementation of new accounts.
  • Monitor and communicate results and contract compliance requirements to Districts
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Maximize company profitability.
  • Manage local Autogas customers
  • Assist National Accounts Team as necessary


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
  • 2+ years project management and/or contract experience.
  • Self-motivated; uses problem solving techniques daily and has ability to communicate escalated issues appropriately
  • Solid PC spreadsheet modeling skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • PeopleSoft experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
