The Undersea Technology Analysis Group (UTAG) within SPA supports the Navy and other government organizations with timely and objective capability assessments, technology evaluations, and strategic planning that integrate the technical, operational, programmatic, policy, and business aspects of undersea warfare (USW) and broader Navy issues.

SPA has an immediate need for a Technical Writer. #MC



Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include: 1) Drafting acquisition documentation in support of the SPO's Senior Acquisition Specialist and Requirements Manager, 2) Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment, 3) Tracking comments and respective resolutions, 4) Developing /collecting documentation that contributes to reports, roadmaps, and overall program direction, and 5) Consolidating technical documentation from multiple sources and present it in an understandable manner.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $60k-$65k



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    High School Diploma
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and possess writing skills
  • Ability to work in a team and individual environment on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Current DoD Secret security clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Direct experience with NAVSEA, Navy Warfare Center or Pentagon Staff work is a plus
