Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Remotely with our client in Buffalo, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Conduct research and prepare financial analysis and reports.
  • Provide management with financial information for use in setting and obtaining bank objectives.
  • Provides cross training/support to new team members
  • Compile facts, analyze data and provide input into recommendations to management on findings/trends.
  • Assist with the design of projects and may lead projects of moderate scope.
  • Research and compile raw data from varied sources into moderately complex reports and schedules.
  • Execute & suggest improvements/enhancements to existing forecast models/pro forma analysis by working with others on closely related teams to exchange information in a collaborative and professional manner
  • Enhance the sustainability & documentation of assigned tasks/processes
  • Uses judgment based on the analysis of information to identify meaningful information
  • Display foundational understanding of client (or applicable Business Unit within) financial statements; including awareness of key drivers/trends in major Balance Sheet and Income Statement line items
  • Participate in training and development opportunities across Finance and among supported businesses
  • Understand and adhere to department timelines and deliverables
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite.
  • Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client brand.
  • Maintain client internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.
  • May train junior staff

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the systems/tools used to generate standard financial reports on a periodic basis
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in finance and accounting concepts through the aggregation of financial data
