Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified Quality Technicians for our client in Grand Prairie, TX.
Here's what you'll get:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7am - 330pm
(CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT FOR 4+ WEEKS)
  • Rates: $16.75 - $22.75 based on Union Rate Guidelines for relevant experience. (+$.60/hr. differential for 3rd Shift)
  • Temp to Perm conversion at 4 months!
  • Holiday pay, 401(k), direct deposit, and medical and dental insurance
Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Mechanical and Cosmetic Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting mechanical and cosmetic inspections of Switchgear, Switchboards, and Power Panels, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work proactively in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical and cosmetic inspections of Switchgear, Switchboards, and Power Panels.
  • Familiarize with UL code, city code, NEC, IEEE requirements/specifications after training.
  • Document defective parts and defects in the assembly accurately.
  • Communicate any issues clearly and in detail to the relevant team members.
  • Proactively solve problems and contribute to a team environment.
  • Maintain high performance and safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Provide support as needed in various aspects of the inspection process.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • 1+ year Mechanical/Electrical assembly and/or inspection
  • 1+ year experience with torque mark check methods and standards.
    1+ year experience reading schematics, one-lines, drawings,
    1+ year using basic hand tools
    1+ year logging and tracking production data (excel spreadsheet, SAP, forms/databases)


Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check, education verification, employment verification and a drug screen, as well as successful completion of safety training requirements.
  • Able to read, speak and write clearly in English for safety purposes
  • High school diploma or GED
