As a practitioner turned business development specialist, you can quickly assess client needs to knit together skills across Cognizant and provide winning human-centered solutions. What we share: -A knack for looking at familiar problems through a unique lens -A desire to change minds, hearts, and behaviors with new experiences -A passion for driving market growth through innovation, technology, and design -A belief that understanding people can better guide business priorities and strategies What your day-to-day will look like: Lead business development activities from opportunity identification to sold work in support of DX's industry revenue targets for North America (US, Canada and LATAM) -Proactively engage clients to uncover opportunities and drive solutioning for fixed advisory engagements to long-term enablement. -Act as a trusted client advisor, relied on for strategic points of view to drive experience-related solutions. -Partner with multiple points of contact (e.g., AI and Advanced Analytics, Digital Engineering, Quality Engineering and Assurance, Process Automation, Sales and Account teams) to weave capabilities together across a range of project types and own the end-to-end creation of winning proposals. -Lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams within the DX practice (strategy, insights, design, platforms, product, content, learning and digital marketing), providing effective team direction. -Guide large and high complexity project engagements for Fortune 500 clients (if needed) -Influence the sales communities across Cognizant to ensure the Digital Experience service line is a top-of-mind partner, both internally and externally -Develop thought leadership pieces specific to sub-industry challenges and pain points. -Design and facilitate successful presentations, webinars, and workshops for senior executive level clients. -Conduct education sessions with the broader sales communities. -Define, create, and socialize offerings for industry and sub-industry solutions including supporting collateral (e.g., industry-specific services, "battlecards") and targeting accounts/clients. -Actively manage a broad network of stakeholders across the client organization, and within the Digital Experience service line and Cognizant. What you'll need: -10-15 years of experience in professional services roles, increasing in the level of experience and having worked across business units/functions/practices in a large global organization. -At least 4-6 years in business development with direct experience in a presales function for sectors such as sectors of Property & Casualty, Life & Annuities, Group and Retirement or Banking, Finance, and Capital Markets. -Undergraduate or graduate degree in service design, strategic design, innovation strategy, business administration, product, digital marketing or a related field. -Digital agency experience or MBA is considered a strong asset. -Proven ability to critique, analyze, and elevate narratives, strategies, and ideas. -Ability to leverage cross-functional resources and building effective teams. -Expertise in storytelling and narrative crafting to capture the attention of prospective clients and internal stakeholders. -Strong client leadership and facilitation skills with the ability to command and guide a room of C-level executives at Fortune 500 organizations. -Conversant in the principles and practices of human-centered design and design thinking. -Understanding of creating personas, design principles, experience maps, ecosystem maps, user journeys, service blueprints, and rapid prototyping methods. -Would expect up to 25% travel as required. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $95,500 to $188,100 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
