Ingram Marine Group is seeking a Laborer for our bulk terminal in Reserve, LA. In this position you will be responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operation at our rail, truck, and barge terminals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Frequently carrying, dragging, and pulling of wires, lines, rigging, and ropes
  • Working on cranes, landing, docks and crew boats
  • Assisting in crane signaling operations to lift and move cargo in normal daily stevedoring operations
  • Shoveling, pumping and sweeping barge/ramp/dock
  • Yard maintenance as needed
  • Painting/ Housekeeping of full facility
  • Maintenance of all equipment
  • Operation of forklifts, loaders, and other equipment necessary to carry on normal company activity
  • Delivers, receives, picks up parts and supplies from various locations
  • Checks and maintains crew boats
  • Fuel transfers
  • Rides with customers to various locations for safety precautions
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Candidates must:

  • Possess a High School diploma or GED
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work daily
  • Pass a post-offer process of an offer is made (background check, drug screen, and physical)
  • Can walk and lift for extended periods
  • Can carry more than fifty pounds on a regular basis unassisted
  • Must be able to read and write the English language to comply with USCG regulatory requirements

Current Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30 PM
