Job Title: Test Technician Location with zip code: McKinney, TX Duration: 12 months with possibility of CTH Pay Rate: $30.00/hr -$32.00/hr on W2 Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night: 2nd shift (02:00 PM to 10:30 PM) Job Description: The ideal candidate will perform various product tests using detailed work instructions, test procedures, and engineering documents to test and troubleshoot technologically advanced parts/products. Duties will include setting up and operating testing equipment, troubleshooting, documenting test results, and physically moving materials on and off testing platforms. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of initiative, and strong work ethic, function well under pressure, and maintain a success-oriented attitude while working with diverse teams. Inspecting, maintaining, and calibrating avionics equipment, SE, and aircraft components. Repairing EW systems, sensor systems and components, wiring harnesses and interconnecting cables. Repairing amplifier and logic circuits; microwave equipment; servomechanisms; radio frequency circuits; video displays; and power supply circuits. Experience working with rectifiers and controller circuitry. Troubleshot power supply modules and I/O modules to component level by replacing various chips and components that have high fault rate Experience with using schematics and drawing to troubleshoot electronic circuits Looked BOM's to identify failed components, ordered parts and maintained stock Understanding and be able to perform ERP systems (SAP/ETS/Microsoft Access) Required Skills: Ability to work long periods while standing, bending, and walking. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multi-tasks, set priorities, and adapt to change. Flexible and motivated, able to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to read and interpret test data. Strong safety focus. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Strong written and oral communication skills. Enthusiastic, aggressive, self-starter with strong people skills. Ability to work across multiple shifts / weekend work. Typically Requires: HS Diploma or an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with 4 years of relevant experience in Electronics, Military training in electronic testing/troubleshooting, or equivalent experience/education in testing processes.
