Job Title: Test Technician

Location with zip code: McKinney, TX

Duration: 12 months with possibility of CTH

Pay Rate: $30.00/hr -$32.00/hr on W2

Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night: 2nd shift (02:00 PM to 10:30 PM)

Job Description:

  • The ideal candidate will perform various product tests using detailed work instructions, test procedures, and engineering documents to test and troubleshoot technologically advanced parts/products.
  • Duties will include setting up and operating testing equipment, troubleshooting, documenting test results, and physically moving materials on and off testing platforms.
  • The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of initiative, and strong work ethic, function well under pressure, and maintain a success-oriented attitude while working with diverse teams.
  • Inspecting, maintaining, and calibrating avionics equipment, SE, and aircraft components.
  • Repairing EW systems, sensor systems and components, wiring harnesses and interconnecting cables.
  • Repairing amplifier and logic circuits; microwave equipment; servomechanisms; radio frequency circuits; video displays; and power supply circuits.
  • Experience working with rectifiers and controller circuitry.
  • Troubleshot power supply modules and I/O modules to component level by replacing various chips and components that have high fault rate
  • Experience with using schematics and drawing to troubleshoot electronic circuits
  • Looked BOM's to identify failed components, ordered parts and maintained stock
  • Understanding and be able to perform ERP systems (SAP/ETS/Microsoft Access)

Typically Requires:

  • HS Diploma or an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with 4 years of relevant experience in Electronics, Military training in electronic testing/troubleshooting, or equivalent experience/education in testing processes.
