About the Role

Parametrix is looking for a NEPA Specialist/Project Manager to join our team Oregon/Idaho team. We provide environmental permitting solutions for federal, state, and local agencies and for our region's most complex transportation, infrastructure, site development, and industrial projects. Our environmental practice includes professionals who are fun, collaborative, and dedicated. You will join one of our Oregon or SW Washington locations (Portland, Eugene, Bend, or Vancouver). You will report to our Environmental team.

You Will:

  • You will lead planning services while partnering with other planners, scientists, and engineers. Job responsibilities include conducting NEPA impact analyses; lead and coordinate the preparation of EISs, EAs, categorical exclusions, and related environmental documentation; lead environmental permitting efforts; and develop documentation for a variety of planning studies. You will support environmental permitting in Oregon and Washington. Experience permitting in other western states including Idaho, Montana, Utah and California is a plus.
  • You will focus on project management and delivery, business development, and client development. Collaborative approach, and the ability to partner with clients, agency staff, and co-workers are crucial.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in managing and delivering projects and developing client relationships and marketing environmental planning services.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or biological sciences, planning, or similar. Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of NEPA experience with a focus on water or energy infrastructure, permitting, and climate work.

Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $110,000-130,000+.

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
