Summary: HHMI is committed to advancing scientific discoveries by modernizing how research is shared and recognized. The Program Coordinator will help refine and implement strategies for HHMI's open science initiatives, including the Open Access to Publications policy, promotion of preprints and preprint review, and emerging projects to improve research communication. This role will work with HHMI scientists, staff, and external partners to implement services and programs that improve the sharing of HHMI research. Analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills will be essential in collaborating with various partners. This position reports to the Director, Open Science Strategy. In this newly created position, we prefer you work in a hybrid model at our headquarters campus in Chevy Chase, MD, but remote arrangements will be considered. Compensation Range $74,413.60 (minimum) - $93,017.00 (midpoint) - $120,922.10 (maximum)Pay Type: AnnualHHMI's salary structure is developed based on relevant job market data. HHMI considers a candidate's education, previous experiences, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity when making job offers.
