Marketing Specialist (Courts & Justice Division)
Apply Online The Marketing Specialist is dedicated to executing projects that help meet business goals, generate leads, and increase brand recognition for Tyler solutions. The Marketing Specialist will work cross-functionally, assisting the vertical marketing team with a variety of projects, including project management, campaign planning, event coordination, and content development. The Marketing Specialist will have a positive impact on the division by delivering campaigns that raise awareness, generate leads, and create loyalty among the division's prospects and clients. The work of the Marketing Specialist will enhance the brand, position Tyler for consideration, and help close new business. As a part of Tyler's corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative, multi-faceted marketing campaigns, which may include email, print, social media, web, webinar, video, and in-person touchpoints with clients and prospects.
- Become adept in the Tyler voice and writing style, using this to write effective, compelling content for the web, email, and other campaign assets.
- Ensure marketing messaging is consistent and drives the key messages in an impactful way.
- Work with managers and third-party vendors to develop and execute programmatic advertising campaigns such as persona targeting, behavioral targeting, and site retargeting.
- Provide lead generation or client outreach support at events, such as trade shows or conferences, including on-site coordination where required.
- Manage projects so assigned deliverables are completed on time and with efficient use of resources; work with manager to prioritize projects for maximum business impact.
- Track assignments and the results of projects and campaigns so the impact of work can be reported by the team manager; ensure marketing messaging is consistent and drives the key messages in an impactful way.
- Develop product knowledge and/or obtain product knowledge from internal subject matter experts to communicate about Tyler's solutions clearly and accurately to an external audience.
- Work independently on projects with some oversight from manager; engage collaboratively with team and clients as needed.
- Meet and communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders via email, chat, phone/video call, or in-person discussion, including with people in other offices or remote locations.
- Respond to the marketing needs of the division and its key stakeholders, and design and execute awareness, lead generation, and loyalty programs/campaigns to meet those needs.
- Understand and convey division messages and objectives in all sales and marketing collateral.
- Understand customer needs and be able to incorporate a client perspective into communications.
- Effectively work with subject matter experts across the division's various departments.
- Establish priorities and meet deadlines in conjunction with those set forth by Marketing leadership.
- Handle multiple tasks while paying close attention to details.
- Stay abreast of industry and marketing best practices, trends, ideas, tools, and technology.
- Develop and execute digital advertising (programmatic, behavioral, account-based)
- Write short form copy and image selection for digital, print, and social campaigns.
- Manage ad deliverables for publication deadlines using TyCat.
- Analyze the results of advertising campaigns and generate reports.
- Helps maintain master campaign calendar via co-schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of marketing experience
- An understanding of marketing communications vehicles, including email, direct mail, collateral, video, web, and trade shows, advertising (experience with programmatic advertising is preferred)
- Experience effectively managing a variety of marketing projects and timelines.
- Strong writing skills and experience
- Knowledge of AP style
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- An understanding of graphic applications, image/media files, web media/interactive marketing, etc.
- A positive attitude with a desire to go above and beyond expectations.
- Technology/software industry and public sector experience preferred.
