Intern Position Summary
The CPS Energy Internship Program is designed to meet the industry's rapidly changing workforce needs by providing San Antonio College studentsan opportunity to be paired with a mentor to acquire meaningful hands-on experiences that expands their understanding of the industry and exposes The Grid Modernization Intern will work under the guidance of a Grid Modernization Engineer mentor. The key function will be to support thedevelopment and implementation of strategies to modernize the electrical grid. The intern will work closely with the Grid Modernization team andother stakeholders to understand the current state of the grid and identify opportunities to improve its reliability, security, and efficiency. The internwill be responsible for conducting research and analysis to support the team's initiatives, including data collection, modeling, and programcoordination. Additionally, the intern will assist in the preparation of reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations tostakeholders. Tasks and Responsibilities
Minimum Skills
Personal Computer Usage Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must be currently enrolled in a related discipline.
A minimum GPA of 2.5.
Must currently reside within 120 miles of CPS Energy Headquarters.

Demonstrate an interest in a career applicable to the utility industry.
