Position Summary Advise and counsel NYU New York and NYU Shanghai students studying at NYU Abu Dhabi for a semester. Serve as an academic support and resource person as students prepare to study in Abu Dhabi. Provide students with an overview of curriculum, policies, and procedures. Create advising materials to enable students to understand course options for their degree program. Assist with coordinating curricular equivalencies across NYU's three degree-granting campuses. Analyze data received through student inquiries and enrollment analysis, and make recommendations based on the changing needs of students. Organize website updates to assure students have access to the latest curricular changes to enable them to study at NYU Abu Dhabi. Assist in the implementation of marketing events to recruit students for semester-long study at NYU Abu Dhabi, including developing information sessions and open houses, and liaise with faculty and other University personnel. Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education: Master's Degree in liberal arts subject strongly preferred Required Experience: 2+ years experience in counseling, advising, student services, program development or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to interpret and communicate policies to individuals at all levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $79,200.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
