The Kitchen Steward is an essential role to the operation. The Kitchen Steward ensures that all guests have an excellent experience through performing kitchen duties related to maintaining kitchen work areas, restaurant and kitchen equipment. Work Performed: TheKitchen Stewardis tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, food storage areas, walk-in fridges, freezers, ovens, and dry storagecupboards; Clean, sanitize,and store dishes, glasses, utensils,and other kitchen equipment in thedesignatedareas; Hand-wash pots, pans, and traysper the prescribedstandard; Manage trash andgarbage (including separating), cleancans, and maintain loading dock; Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and workareas; Complete regular sanitization/disinfection of all kitchen and food and beverage work areas that include flooring, storerooms, prep areas, buffets, dining tables, andequipment; Assistwith food dish-up, set-up sheets,andset-up and break-down for various events; and Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. Qualifications: Required Licenses/ Certification:Cleveland County Food Handler Certification acquired upon hire during onboarding.
