Mission:

Responsible for maintaining the Innovation Center, setting up trial cells and equipment, and conducting testing

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducting testing in the Innovation Center and supporting personnel in the IC with their testing/trials
• Perform setup and teardown of robotic cells for adhesive dispensing, mechanical joining, and integrated vision lab trials
• Identify equipment needed for trials and coordinate with Inventory Specialist to retrieve for trial assembly
• Support Inventory Specialist in establishing an equipment inventory system
• Assemble part fixtures used for in-house trials and prototype builds
• Prepare post-trial equipment for shipment to the intercompany repair center
• Disassembly and re-assembly of dispensing equipment (training provided)
• Prepare and section metal coupons for mechanical joining cross-sectional analysis
  
  Help ensure a clean working environment in the IC
  
  Wiring and routing cables and hoses for equipment

Education and Experience:

• Agile mindset, ability to identify problems, find a solution, and execute
• Ability to troubleshoot capital equipment from a mechanical and electrical perspective
• Experience with machine shop/power tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, Bridgeport)
• The assisted heavy lifting of 50lbs or less is required
  
  Electrician certification and electrical experience preferred
• Background in the assembly of adhesive dispensing equipment would be a plus
