Prepares and delivers medications to patients and/or nursing units under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist/licensed independent practitioner. Demonstrates the ability to competently work in different (omit) general and specialized areas of pharmacy practice. Our caring team is rapidly growing and we'd love to have you join our team! * Provide our patients with convenient care over the phone and through MyChart messaging * Serve our patients safely, efficiently, and affordably * Non-Patient facing pharmacy with convenient on-site parking * Processing insurance claims * Preparing new prescription and refill requests for patients * Utilizing automated dispensing robot to fill prescriptions * Packaging and mailing medications daily. * Maintaining inventory of medication and supplies * Shifts: 12:00 PM-8:30 PM & Every other Saturday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Position Compensation Range: $20.68 - $32.05 Hourly MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent Experience: 6 months minimum relevant experience required License/Certification: Commonwealth of Virginia Pharmacy Technician Registration required. CPhT credential through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) orPharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required. For team members hired prior to February 1, 2020, certification as CPhT through NHA or PTCB is required by January 31, 2022. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs.
