Responsibilities

  • Support new internet Exchange Point (IXP) architecture and optimization of network supporting connectivity among sponsor entities
  • Support modeling and simulation of inter-agency network architectures to help capacity planning and future bandwidth requirements
  • Support traffic engineering capabilities and resiliency of network that supports external sponsor entities connectivity to cloud resources
  • Support cloud services such Compute, Storage, Security, and Network services across multi-cloud environments
  • Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, communities, and route policy language (RPL) on service provider on prem infrastructure
  • Strong oral and written communications skills. Demonstrated experience facilitating discussions on technical issues and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must POSSESS and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, Business, or a scientific, or technical discipline. BS 12-15, MS 10-13. Phd 10+
  • Knowledge of theory and practice underlying LAN/WAN network operations
  • Knowledge of communications and information security policies and practices
  • Knowledge of multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.

Desired:

  • Knowledge of the Sponsor's policies and procedures relating to design, upgrading, and operating and maintaining their networks
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
  • Doctorate degree (or equivalent experience) in a field related to the position
  • 20+ years of experience
  • 5 years of experience in the Intelligence Community
