We have an exciting opportunity for a business systems analyst to provide project and production support for our ERP and manufacturing systems. To be Successful in this Role You'll Need to:
- Be the go-to analyst for our Oracle E-Business Suite ERP system supporting BOM, WIP, Inventory, PIM and warehouse management
- Lead system solution discussions with business operations and development teams to bridge the gap between operational needs and technical solutions.
- Show expert knowledge of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC), including developing and delivering detailed requirements documentation, process flow diagrams, and testing plans to development teams.
- Enable data driven decisions through SQL knowledge of the Oracle E-Business Suite data model.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leveraging your expert knowledge in supporting full lifecycle of projects through the IT Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including IT planning, defining functional and technical specifications, and SDLC management.
- Supporting Requirements Development by:
- Conducting interviews and facilitating workshops to elicit business requirements
- Researching, analyzing, model and organize information for developing requirements
- Decomposing high-level information and abstracting up from low-level information to distinguish solution ideas from business needs
- Facilitating requirements validation sessions and presenting findings to client management and other stakeholders
- Collaborating to resolve requirements conflicts between stakeholders
- Researching, documenting, and validating current and future state processes and designs (functional and technical)
- Helping to define best approaches, alternatives, and decision frameworks for alternative business solutions analyses.
Skills & Experience You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, CS, Business Operations, or a relevant field with a minimum 10 years of demonstrated SDLC experience with full lifecycle IT projects, including waterfall and agile projects.
- Minimum 5+ Years hands on experience with ERP systems in a discrete manufacturing environment
- Direct, hands-on fundamental understanding of key manufacturing operational concepts such as:
- Multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Routers
- Product Information Management (PIM)
- Material Handling
- Assembly Operations
- Shipping & Distribution
- Demand Planning
- 5+ years SQL query experience in an Oracle environment
- Experience managing software vendor service requests & production support issue escalation
- Advanced knowledge of Visio, Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft O365 tools.
- Preferred Skills:
- Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ERP, preferably with Inventory, WIP, BOM, PIM & WMS modules.
- Experience with Demand Planning and Forecasting software such as Logility, Kinaxis or Oracle ASCP
- Microsoft Power BI reporting
- Jira & Confluence for service desk, issue, and project management
- APICS, CPIM, PMP, ITIL or other relevant certifications are a strong plus
