Your opportunity:

As a Manufacturing Engineer for Greenheck Group you will optimize factory costs, quality, and customer service through the conception, development, and implementation of new or improved manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, material flow, plant layout, or product design.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate and implement basic training initiatives to support manufacturing.
  • Specify and justify basic capital expenditures.
  • Purchase and implement tooling and equipment to support daily operations.
  • Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Recognize and recommend design and process changes to improve manufacturability.
  • Identify and implement improvements to material utilization, cell layout and machinery efficiency.
  • Provide summarized data to influence key management decisions relating to budgeting, staffing, and capacity planning.
  • Participate in Lean and safety initiatives.
  • Manage basic individual projects in accordance with predetermined completion dates.
  • Support production and manufacturing to optimize quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and operational efficiencies resulting in improved customer satisfaction.
  • Support production and manufacturing quality management system and policies.

What you should have:

  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience in engineering required.
  • 4 Year / bachelor's degree in engineering required.
  • Basic CAD skills strongly preferred.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of Lean concepts.
  • Powder coat/paint experience in manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Data Analysis skills.
  • Experience with plant layouts and equipment installs.

A few things we think you should know:

  • Will work on a new state of the art automated paint line in a clean and air-conditioned facility.
  • There is limited to no travel in this role.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. There is an occasional need for walking short distances. Work may be performed in company's setting, home, or hybrid.
