Job Description
Primary Duty
The primary duty of the Sanitation Technician is to be responsible for the cleanliness of our Central Hub
Warehouse that includes our new state of the art Vertique System and all areas within the Central Hub.
Essential Functions

* Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position. Position is required
to work all hours necessary to ensure operations function is fulfilled, including nights,
weekends, holidays.
* Ensure all areas of the automated loading system are clean and free of debris to the
company's high standard.
* Complete weekly assignments of conveyor roller cleaning to ensure minimal disruption to
our picking process.
* Wrap all sensors, lights, and motors before cleaning different pieces of equipment.
* Must be able to perform light preventative maintenance as required.
* Must be able to move up and down steps in order to gain access to cleaning areas.
* Must be able to bend under machinery and conveyors to clean, sweep, and mop.
* Sweep and mop all assigned areas within the Hub as assigned in a timely fashion.
* Must be certified by Buffalo Rock Company management and able to run a Tenant
Scrubber, as designed by manufacturer. Must scrub all assigned areas daily.
* Must utilize the Infolink computer system while operating Tenant Scrubber.

* Must keep all sanitation supplies in their proper place and notify Maintenance lead when
running low.
* Make sound decisions and multitask simultaneously without constant supervision.
* Clean other equipment as assigned.
* Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all
Company and Division provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other
Company provided method. (Must successfully complete quarterly training curriculum,
including but not limited to web-based and facilitated training.)

Work Environment
Working conditions will require both inside warehouse needs and outside pallet/tray production
support. Temperature conditions will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold.

Other Physical Requirements
* Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth)
* Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Slip Resistant Shoes an any other PPE
required as a result of a job hazard analysis.
* All tasks within the warehouse are physically demanding and labor-intensive. Employees
within this role are required have the ability to: stand, walk, stoop, reach and climb up and
down stairs throughout shift as well as the ability to work in a fast paced and warm
environment, especially during summer months.

* High School Diploma or GED: Preferred
