Meet the Team: The Airbus Helicopters Flexrotor Program offers one of the most sophisticated small tactical unmanned aerial systems (STUAS) with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL). It can be used day or night by US and allied forces for a diverse range of intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) on land and at sea. Your Challenges: * Assemble and test production engines, fuel tanks, and ignition systems. * Assemble, test and calibrate production rotor systems and related components. * Perform propulsion systems development, fabrication, and assembly. * Troubleshoot failure modes and provide photo documentation. * Operate manual machine tools, rill, lathe, mill, dyno etc. * Align, fit or assemble propulsion system component parts, using hand or power tools. * Maintain part inventory and order replacement inventory as needed. * Review of documentations including drawing, schematics, and Bill of materials. * Assisting with manufacturing/ production / quality process improvement. * Develop work instructions, test procedures and quality documentation. Your Boarding Pass: * High school diploma or equivalency. * 5 years of relevant experience. * Experience designing test setups related to mechanical systems. * Understanding of electro-mechanical systems, such as engine test stands, etc. * Experience with data acquisition systems. * Fundamental understanding of two stroke engines and fuel systems. * Experience with tools and equipment related to engines.
