The Challenge

The Digital Strategy Group (DSG) is a global team of deep industry experts and digital strategists that deliver Digital Experience (DX) vision, strategy and thought leadership by industry for Adobe's Enterprise business. Our Strategy & Operations team has a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to running the day-to-day operations of our global team, defining, communicating and deploying our GTM Strategy, driving our employee engagement initiatives, supporting our VP with key meetings with senior Adobe leaders (e.g., QBRs, RTBs, etc.). Members of this team are expected to be strategic thinkers, who are also savvy operators and understand how to run a complex, global team with close to 200 resources as they bridge the gap between high-level strategic planning and day-to-day operational execution

What you'll do

As the Strategy & Operations Manager, you will report to the Chief of Staff of the Global VP, Digital Strategy Group. You will partner closely with the Chief to build out programs to support a consistent global operating model for our team and drive initiatives to support the strategic priorities for DSG team.

You will also own measuring and assessing the performance of DSG's GTM strategy globally and uncovering data-driven recommendations to optimize the approach. You will gain skills in presenting and storytelling as a key team member as you interact with the overall team and global leadership, and you will work very closely with these stakeholders to take action on identified priorities. The role will help you refine and demonstrate analytical skills from tracking the metrics that reflect our team's impact to developing strategic insights providing improvement opportunities across a variety of focus areas from GTM strategy to employee engagement. Ultimately, you will ensure that DSG's strategic objectives are effectively implemented, and our operational processes are efficient and aligned with Adobe leadership's overall business goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Analysis

  • Run programs to execute on strategic initiatives: Create and run programs to drive successful execution of key strategic initiatives as identified by the DSG leadership team. Work closely with senior leadership to define long and short-term goals, identify growth opportunities to achieve those objectives.
  • Business performance analysis: Analyze key business metrics, sales ops insights, and operational data to evaluate DSG performance against goals, and provide actionable insights for improvement
  • Inform decision-making with data driven insights: Leverage data analytics to inform decision-making and provide regular reports to senior management on performance, future trends, changing resource needs, etc.
  • Annual planning: Use data and insights to help DSG leaders plan for different strategic outcomes; develop a resource model to be leveraged in annual planning

2. Operational Efficiency & Optimization

  • Global operating model: Partner with Chief of Staff, to develop structure and processes to support DSG's operating model for the year and run day-to-day needs of it
  • Track performance: Track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of global DSG teams against targets
  • Support key internal meetings: Support Chief of Staff, DSG leaders and stakeholders to develop content for all key meetings like DSG All Hands, DSG RTBs, QBRs, etc.
  • Change Management: Lead or support initiatives that involve significant organizational change, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with company goal
  • Budget management: Support DSG's VP and her Chief of Staff with DSG's marketing, tool and morale budget, ensuring that expenditures are in line with forecasts

3. Leadership & Stakeholder Communication

  • Senior stakeholder management: Act as a liaison between senior leadership and DSG teams ensuring that business leaders are informed of and aligned on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Communication & Reporting: Regularly communicate strategy updates, progress reports, and insights to stakeholders across the business, ensuring alignment at all levels; own DSG newsletter, regular cadence of communications
  • Support with senior leadership meetings: Partnering with Chief of Staff to develop all content needed for meetings with DX senior leadership

What you need to succeed

  • Demonstrated interest in business strategy, operations, technology and analytics through academic background and past employment
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, including conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Global experience would be very helpful
  • Project management skills with planning, organizing, and executing projects experience
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Passion for new knowledge and ability to absorb concepts quickly
  • High level of energy, personal drive, and positivity
  • Outstanding record of academic achievement

Willingness to travel up to 25% (actual amount be may less)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $94,300 -- $179,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
