Description Acara Solutions is looking for a Senior Accountant for our partner in Newark, CA who specializes in Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing. Here is what you will get: Annual Rate: $74,800-$99,880 DOE + Annual Bonus Incentive Direct Hire Responsibilities: Assist with financial close tasks & reporting. Prepare & enter Journal entries Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Support internal & external audits Daily review of banking transactions and cash reconciliations Analyze Labor & Inventory costs Administer and maintain company credit card accounts Work collaboratively with other departments within the organization. Provide solutions to accounting issues as they arise Support functional accounting by managing general ledger transactions on an on going basis. Perform various general ledger reconciliations in preparation for month end close. Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal control requirements. Support various quarterly and annual financial audits. Ad Hoc analysis as needed. Assist with other assigned tasks as needed Work availability can include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelors degree ,CPA license and/or Master's preferred. College Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university Minimum 3 year of hands-on working experience in similar listed responsibilities.
