Summary:

Goldbelt Nisga'a Tek is looking for a Unit Movement Development Systems Instructor. This position will provide Unit Movement Deployment Systems Computer Instructor Services for the Transportation Management Training Department (TMTD).


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Conducting classes on time
  • Provide academic instruction IAW the POI of the courses assigned
  • Prepare class schedules
  • Grade tests and practical exercises
  • Provide remedial assistance when required
  • Provide additional training to students when requested and administering End of Course critiques
  • Perform classroom reset which includes having all training aids ready for each block of instruction, having system computers powered on and checking with the blackboard administrator to ensure the class has been built in the system
  • Review POI and Lesson Plans to remedy any deficiencies or shortcomings that they have identified during the preparation for and conduct of instruction
  • Review the Individual Student Assessment Plan (ISAP)
  • Shall attend TC AIMS II software update training to maintain current technical competency with the deployment automation systems of the Contractor personnel's assigned course ensuring that classroom instruction remains relevant
  • Perform services alongside Government personnel to provide remediation training, maintain classrooms by re-configuring/setting up classroom furnishings, sort and maintain training aides and equipment, stock training materials and equipment, and/or assist with outdoor training site maintenance

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient with Microsoft (MS) office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook)
  • Able to perform duties requiring moderate lifting (not to exceed 45 lbs.), long periods of standing, sitting or walking, and endure inclement weather conditions on occasion

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Have a minimum education level of one (1) year of college
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience using the automated deployment systems (TC-AIMS II, ICODES, GATES-Surface and RFID/AIT). Experience will be validated through course completion certificates, military/civilian evaluations, DD 214 or course transcripts
  • Have a working knowledge of UMODPC as evidenced by a minimum of three (3) years of experience with UMODPC and two (2) years of experience using the automated deployment systems (TC-AIMS II, GATES-Surface, and RFID/AIT) as evidenced by course completion certificates, DD 214 or course transcripts
  • Have completed the Common Faculty Development - Instructor Course (CFD-IC) within the last five (5) years IAW TR 350-70, OR have the ability to complete CFD-IC and shall complete it at the first available Government scheduled course
  • Have held a position as a Military or Civilian facilitator or instructor in a military service environment for at least one (1) year
  • Have a course completion certificate from the courses going to instruct or be able to take the course and pass the course scoring 90% or higher on all exams IAW the USATSCH SOP
  • Able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance while performing services
  • Performing duties as the Site Lead
  • All Contract LNCOA Instructors shall have a record of prior military service consisting of at least four (4) years of prior military service and been honorably discharged or currently serving as a National Guard or United States Army Reserves (USAR) Warrant Officer (WO) or Senior NCO.
  • Must have completed and be able to provide documentation of completion of ALC and SLC in the MOS they are instructing or the Warrant Officer (WO) Basic Course that has a feeder MOS into that field. LNCOA instructor will be required to instruct at the ALC and SLC level of instruction for the MOS's they are qualified to instruct.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
