Position Description

Maintains all electrical and electronic single and three phase meters (kwh billing meters) used by Santee Cooper's distribution customers.

Essential Job Tasks:

Completes inventory control cycle counts twice per month to manage shop inventory levels.

Receives meter shipments and strategically places new meters behind old meters to use older stock first.

Cleans and inspects watt-hour meter components and covers, detecting damaged and/or defective parts.

Completes accuracy testing of single-phase watt-hour meters.

Loads and unloads meters using forklift.

Position Requirements

Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.

High School Diploma/GED required.

Compensation Information:
$21.10 - $26.35 (min.-mid.)
