At St. Jude, our facilities operations and maintenance department keep us operating. We need an experienced carpenter to join the team.
Under the general supervision of the maintenance supervisor, the carpenter assists in achieving departmental goals and uses hand and power tool to fabricate items by sketches diagrams or manufacture specification. If you have 5 years of experience and a high school diploma or GED, please consider applying today! This role, Carpenter, will work under the supervision of the lead carpenter and his associated supervisor. This position will cover the entire campus and will require coordination and interactions with clinical, research and administrative groups. Working in a large environment is a plus. Teamwork is a must. This is a rapidly changing environment that may require changing goals and tasks to meet the demands of the facility. You must have reasonable computer skills and be prepared to with both a desktop and/or tablet to maximize usage of our CMMS software. Good language skills and a desire to listen first and act later. Compensation In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
