Job Purpose

This role will function as a key player on a high-impact Communications Team responsible for creating and executing communications across a variety of channels, with a primary focus on digital communications. The Digital Communications Manager will work closely with communications leadership, and company leaders to ensure internal and external communications align with company priorities and initiatives while informing, engaging and inspiring the team.

The Digital Communications Manager must communicate clearly and concisely, deal with ambiguity, work calmly under pressure, and represent the brand to the highest standards within and outside of the organization.

What you will do...

  • Collaborates with key players to identify digital communications opportunities and provide critical messaging to stakeholder groups in the organization, including field and corporate employees of all levels
  • Develops strategic plan and creates content for company's digital communications channels, including SharePoint intranet and social media
  • Administers company's digital communications channels, including SharePoint intranet, social media and blog
  • Manages content calendar and produces communications for various digital channels, including news stories published to SharePoint intranet and social media posts.
  • Records, edits and produces company podcast to support and enhance leader communications
  • Measures and tracks the effectiveness of company's digital communications channels
  • Collaborates with internal teams, including IT and Operations, to amplify brand attributes and develop stories that define the company's core values
  • Supports the Communications Team in other duties, as assigned


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, multimedia, English or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience on a corporate communications team, with an individual focus in digital communications
  • This role is remote but requires travel to the headquarters in Bonita Springs, FL for 1 week per month for the first 6 months


Skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, including knowledge and usage of Associated Press style, with a concentration in digital communications initiatives; writing samples will be required
  • Demonstrated storytelling ability across a variety of communications channels, with a focus on socializing company messaging
  • Proven experience with multimedia applications, including podcasting, photography and videography
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proven time-management and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple, competing priorities
  • Professional and confident presence to engage internal partners and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships across all levels of the company
  • Collaborative contributor, able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver innovative ideas and solutions

$85,000 - $100,000
