Overview ABOUT THE POSITION Senior Water Resources Engineer | South Burlington, VT VHB's Water Resources group is growing across New England, and we are looking for a Senior Hydraulics & Hydrology Engineer with strong technical expertise to be a leader in our dynamic team of Water Resource engineers and scientists. With climate change an every-day reality, the demand for resilient water resources solutions is expanding and we are excited to be on the cutting edge of shaping this practice. While this position is posted for our South Burlington office and is focused on serving our Vermont clients, there is room to grow and tackle projects throughout VHB's footprint. In this position you will assist our clients with developing strategic, cost-effective, and forward-thinking solutions to their riverine, ecological restoration, and water resources challenges. You will have an opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, ranging from site to watershed scale and for a variety of private and public sector clients. You will have the support of a growing group of water resources professional across New England. Projects may include analysis and engineering solutions for riverine and coastal resiliency, bridge hydraulics, stream restorations, culvert design, dam rehabilitation and removal, flood mitigation and management. Responsibilities
Leading multi-disciplinary projects with hydrologic, hydraulic, and resiliency components, including interactions with staff, regulatory agencies, and clients
