All about the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager professional to join our team!

TheManufacturing Manager provides leadership and direction to an assigned teamand is the manager point of contact for the assigned area.TheManufacturing Manager focuses onstrategiccontinuous improvements andareaprocesses, to deliverline Stabilityand drive employee engagementimprovements.The primary function of this role is to manage all aspects of the shift through collaborative working with the Production Supervisors for delivering, and where possible, exceeding the key performance indicators within the operation. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Operations Director and align the designated area of operations to the objectives of the business.

What you'll do:

  • Promote an action-oriented safety culture embracing safety as a core value, instilling and exemplifying a safety mindset for all Team Members resulting in an incident-free workplace.
  • Drive an EMS culture in the area and be an Ambassador of EMS.
  • Oversees the assigned areas in the designated shift.
  • Knowledge of daily activities and how to keep the work moving through the production process smoothly.
  • Executes schedule with a sense of urgency and sincere concern for safety, quality, timeliness, and cost consciousness.
  • Implement and enforce all policies and practices and employ effective leadership techniques and employee relations activities to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all team members working in the facility.
  • Drive productivity through analysis of production vs labor hours.
  • Responsible for team development, efficiency, and flexibility.
  • Perform administrative duties as required for backup such as Kronos, attendance tracking and providing reports for SQDC.
  • Supports the Electrolux Management System and implements continuous improvement processes and cost savings.

Qualifications and preferred qualifications:

  • Associate/bachelor's degree in operations management and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing assembly environment, well-versed in process improvement methodologiesand project management skills, with a demonstrated track record on performance improvement (DFP, NRFT...)
  • Experience in team building, employee engagement and Frontline Leadership development.
  • Ability to read and interpret KPI dashboards, analyze gaps, write detailed reports and action plan, leading it to execution.
  • Experience in leadingroot cause analysisand prior experience in Material Flow, Welding, EnamelStampingor Robotics is preferred.
  • Experience in Microsoft Officeand knowledge in ERP,Time and Attendance, and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
  • Ability to speak Spanish, a plus.
