The Opportunity

Adobe is looking to hire a Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst for the Software Asset Management team under the Office of the CIO. The analyst will support and assist with the infrastructure and technical processes to facilitate and enable software compliance management and contract optimization efforts for all 3rd party software products used at Adobe. The primary responsibilities of this analyst are listed below.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with the development automated business solutions using available integration/automation tools to facilitate software license provisioning, software usage, software harvesting, and reporting
  • Build integrations to the SAM tools for disparate software applications to collect software usage and enable automated license provisioning
  • Assist with the design and implementation of automated monitoring processes and operational procedures for the SAM architecture
  • Monitor daily jobs and processes to ensure the SAM tools are functioning as designed
  • Ensure alignment with IT standards and requirements when developing and implementing innovative SAM solutions.
  • Assist with investigation and analysis of SAM tools and processes to enable technology improvements, upgrades, and modifications to the SAM tools
  • Assist with developing processes that will ensure that software and device installation data is available and complete.
  • Assist with the development of a reconciliation processes for server/computer inventory to ensure that device coverage is optimal across the enterprise and can be measured.
  • Proactively identify technical gaps in existing services; explore solution options with the broader IT organization

What You Need to Succeed

  • Must have a master's degree in supply chain, computer science, business - information systems, or a related field or 3 to 5 years of experience in software asset management
  • Experience in building RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions using UiPath (Preferred) or other automation tool
  • Basic Microsoft SQL Database Administration and proficiency in SQL to query the databases
  • API - Understanding of SOAP, REST, and GraphQL.
  • Should have a basic understanding of how to integrate two different systems.
  • Programming Skills in Python, Power-shell, JavaScript, etc.
  • High level knowledge of Discovery/ Inventory tools
  • In-depth grasp of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Basic Supply Chain and Software Asset Management (SAM) understanding
  • Experience with standard applications: MS Outlook, Excel (proficient), JIRA, Splunk queries, Slack, and MS Teams
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $61,600 -- $128,800 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
