CNC Programmer | Atlanta

Position Description:


Ryerson has an opportunity for a CNC Programmer position. As a CNC Programmer you are responsible for programming as well as AutoCAD software to interpret customer supplied drawings and sketches.

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Generate machine language to convert customer supplied piece part documents into finished parts
* Program parts for processing on all equipment
* Create piece part super nests to improve material utilization
* Adjustments to drawings based on customer need, equipment downtime, operator feedback, etc
* Customer satisfaction management of Quality with a 98% on-time delivery requirement
* Proficient in SolidWorks, nesting software and various machine codes to communicate with a wide range of CNC machine controllers (understanding of M-G code), familiarity with ArTube

Position Requirements:


* GED/High School Diploma
* Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a programming position
* CAD 2 & 3 D, CNC Machining Center programming experience
* Strong math skills, strong written and oral communication skills
* Ability to multi-task
* Cooperative, congenial nature, and able to work well with others
