Project Coordinator

VTG is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our Virginia Beach location to support various submarine projects and programs.

• Assists in scheduling and arranges for delivery of material and equipment for prefabrication and subsequent delivery to the installation site.
• Monitors availability of material, equipment, and tools to ensure that the proper resources are available as needed.
• Ensures that disposition of excess material is accomplished in accordance with direction from the Project Manager.
• Monitors POA&M progress and assists with EVMS.
• Coordinates with Resource Manger for required training requirements.
• Initiates travel requests and ensures submission of expense reports.
• Initiates requests for Field Purchase Reports.
• Assists in obtaining, tracking, and reporting of information required for daily, weekly, and monthly reports, Task Order closeout, and other deliverables.
• Assists in the development of the Quality Assurance Workbook.
• Provides personnel information to Security for visit requests.

• Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior defense contracting or military experience preferred.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
• Security clearance, valid driver's license
• Some travel required
