Department: Accounting

Reports To: VP of Finance

Salary Grade: $74,047 to $111,071 annually, plus bonus opportunity

As the FP&A Manager at Dot, you will play a critical role in enhancing our company's forward-looking financial performance and assist in the strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for providing financial insights and short and long forecasts that help shape the company's financial strategy. Also, you will help analyze and model scenarios that impact the company's profitability. Your expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and analysis will be essential in supporting our business units and senior management.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Collaborate with the VP of Finance to develop and maintain financial projections for Dot's P&L while partnering with accounting to track and embed sensitivities into the projections.
  • Partner with the VP of Finance and Dot Family Holdings CFO in the annual update.
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of margin, expense, and capital expenditure
  • Conduct financial analysis to support the company's strategic initiatives and present actionable insights to senior management
  • Assist in the preparation of period and annual presentations for senior management
  • Act as a finance partner to all Finance and Accounting areas, as well as operating teams and IT
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures while developing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste.


YOU MUST HAVE



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, PeopleSoft, Vena).
  • Developing experience in predictive analytics through tools like Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT and others.


YOU MAY ALSO HAVE



  • MBA or CPA is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.


ROLE SPECIFICS



  • Supervision - Manages a team of Staff Accountants, Accounting Supervisor, and others as assigned.
  • Travel - Occasional overnight travel for internal trainings and meetings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
