KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position fulfills and maintains the key responsibilities for at least one advanced role (Production Specialist, Service Specialist or Shipping/OCN Coordinator), while also:




  • Work directly with DC Leadership to prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments to DC employees as appropriate.
  • Provide training to new hires and current employees as needed.
  • Fill in as appropriate for DC Managers/Supervisors regarding employee time management or employee relations.
  • Monitor and provide guidance to employees to ensure accuracy of work, safety, company policies and procedures are adhered.
  • Ensure adequate supplies and materials are on hand and distributed appropriately.
  • Assist in the monitoring and minor maintenance/repairs on Distribution Center equipment.
  • Use tablets, RF Scanners and various computer software for receiving, shipping and production management.
  • Report any product damages or discrepancies to appropriate individual.
  • Meet or exceed daily production targets.
  • Safely drive forklift and maintain valid certification (per assigned department for Lead duties)
  • Regularly seek ways to improve the way we work and actively participate in process improvement initiatives and Distribution Team meetings.
  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work area to the IEWC 5S standards.
  • Treat all coworkers, customers, and suppliers in a helpful and professional manner

Position Qualifications:



  • Education and/or Experience: High School graduate (or GED) preferred; a minimum of three (3) years' experience in various Distribution Center departments preferred.
  • Technology Skills: Ability to use the basic required company software, tablets, or systems and software. SAP experience preferred.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate with others (written, speech, listening) clearly and accurately.
  • Efficiency: Ability to plan ahead, manage time well and be cost conscious.
  • Fork Lift License: Ability to pass the forklift certification (after IEWC provided training) and maintain licensure for sit down, stand up and order picker forklifts.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to meet the physical demands for the job.

  • Personal Protective Equipment: Requires the use of safety shoes, eye protection, and fall protection.
