Overview As part of Myriad's Enterprise Product Management team, the Service Product Organization partners with Myriad's various functional teams and customers to scale and optimize workflow solutions within large health systems. Our team of passionate product leaders, strategy designers, implementation specialists and researchers:
- Breaks silos and facilitates conversations connect the dots by getting the right SMEs together to pull internal and external tacit knowledge.
- Conducts ongoing qualitative and quantitative end user research taking a customer and patient centric approach to understand and solve for internal and external needs.
- Executes service blueprinting establish clarity and alignment on current state, desired future state + gaps that need to be addressed.
- Leads Myriad's HIT (Health Information Technology)/Interoperability strategy partner and build with our customer in their preferred platforms across diverse clinical, ops and admin teams.
- Builds and delivers clinical data solutions enabling key actionable insights to support clinical and operational decision making.
- Leads strategy and execution of large account implementations ensuring a robust and consistent experience for all stakeholders from discovery through deployment.
The Solutions Engineer will act as Myriad's liaison to HIT leaders (Director/VP level + CIO, CTO, CMIO etc.) at Enterprise accounts (large IDNs) and will play a critical role in demonstrating Myriad's current HIT capabilities, mapping customer's current HIT tech stacks and workflows & developing strategy to support customer's desired future state. This role will report to the Sr. Product Manager, Large Account Solutions. Responsibilities
- Partner with Myriad's commercial team to lead the technical discovery, understand Enterprise customer's HIT tech stack and requirements.
- Provide technical product expertise, present solutions, and partner with Myriad Commercial, EMR & SPO colleagues to formulate compelling HIT Solution proposals, ensure customer success at and beyond go live.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers' HIT leaders - uncover unmet needs/gaps, understand their HIT roadmap.
- Collaborate with internal (SPO and technology) teams to flag and document product/functionality gaps, define the necessary enhancements required to deliver robust HIT solutions & participate in SPO's strategic planning process.
- Support SPO colleagues in creating and maintaining account specific internal technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a technical or healthcare related field.
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales solutions consulting/sales engineering for HIT solutions deployed across in large health systems.
- HIT expert infrastructure architecture, client presales / presentation, team management and thought leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of how HIT is currently leveraged in US market and within health systems.
- Broad exposure to and experience with a variety of HIT platforms - EMR, RIS, OIS, LIS etc.
- Strong communications skills, specifically with an executive audience.
- Strategic mindset with ability to dive deep into technical weeds as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Teams.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Preferred
- Strong IT acumen and knowledge of HIT platforms and applications.
- Relevant certifications for the field (i.e. via Epic)
- Ability to handle shenanigans, decent sense of humor, affinity for euchre
