Marketing Coordinator, Collabs & Special Projects

Summary

The Collabs & Special projects marketing coordinator will be the marketing point person who oversees the development of marketing plans and assets for our marketing collaborations and special projects. The role will develop and own a consistent marketing GTM process for collaborations, collaborate with cross functional partners in Design, Merchandising, Sales, PR, Social, & Ecommerce, as well as be the key marketing liaison for the brands and companies we collaborate with. Finally, this role will partner with our Global Creative director and other creative partners to developing marketing assets, still & video, from concept to photoshoot and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and own a consistent process and timeline for the development of marketing assets and plans for collaborations and special collection launches. Creating alignment between brand marketing, ecommerce, sales and other key cross functional partners.
  • A true connector, communicator and collaborator. You will partner cross functionally with design, merchandising, sales, regional leads,, licensing and external partner brand leads & the licensing team. Ensuring internal clarity as it relates to the marketing component of collaborations (both sell in and consumer sell through), global alignment with regional leads on their needs & wants, as well as fostering strong relationships with marketing leads on the partner side.
  • For inbound collaborations (those that we own the design and marketing) you will partner with the creative director to develop marketing assets for many of our collaborations & special projects, from creative concept to photoshoot, post production and integrated campaign development. In some instances you will delegate to other brand marketing team members, and remain in close collaboration to ensure process and timeline is consistent.
  • For outbound collaborations you will be the partner brand POC and help to project manage and disseminate all updates, plans and assets to our internal team, as well as ensuring the partner brand stays true to our brand and delivers on deadline.
  • You will be the brand marketing champion of collaborations & special projects; briefing PR, Social & Ecommerce teams to execute best in class collaboration & special project marketing campaigns across paid digital media, organic social, in-store, ecommerce, PR, events etc.
  • Coordinate & Manage budgets - liaise with key partners to align on appropriate budgets by project, invoice processing, budget trackers, production budget management.

Leadership

  • A master communicator, connector and delegator. Not afraid to lead meetings, delegate tasks and own timelines and process.
  • Flexible & adaptable. Not flustered by change & able to prioritize multiple, fast paced workstreams at once.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience with brand marketing, ideally within the apparel space.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business or equivalent working experience
  • Ideal: hands on photoshoot experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and initiatives.
  • Detail oriented, accurate and shows an elevated level of initiative; meets all deadlines.
  • Agile with the ability to embrace collaboration.
  • Budget Management
  • Overnight and weekend travel as needed
