SSOE is seeking an Architect to join our team of experts in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients. You will play a pivotal role in designing and shaping the future of higher education, K-12, healthcare, governmental, and general commercial markets. You will work closely with our clients, engineering teams, and other professionals to ensure that projects meet and exceed industry standards. Responsibilities

This position is a hybrid model that will require commuting to our Atlanta, GA office.

    Development of project design utilizing Revit
  • Coordination with the project team (engineers et al.) to develop construction documents that accurately implement the design intent.
  • Attending meetings with the project team, consultants, and client to discuss and develop the design.
  • Participation in construction administration by making site visits and addressing technical issues with guidance from the project team.
  • Coordination with engineering, consultants, clients, contractors, and building officials to meet overall project objectives.
  • Reviews work with department manager or project architect to ensure the application of sound architectural practices and professional judgment.
  • Performs a variety of architectural assignments on small projects and/or specific portions of larger projects.
  • A team focused attitude, willing to assist other Studios as necessary


Qualifications

  • Professional Architecture degree that qualifies for licensure, license track preferred with two (2) or more years of related practical experience with former employer(s).
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
