The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) State and Community Energy Program (SCEP) provides funding and technical assistance to states, territories, and the District of Columbia to enhance energy security, advance state-led energy initiatives, and increase energy affordability. The Project Monitor will support SCEP in project monitoring activities including, but not limited to, performing tasks to assist with the effective and timely execution of federal grants and obligation of funds, creating and maintaining tracking tools for balance of funds and status of grant applications, and creating requisitions in the procurement system for obligation of funds, de-obligation of funds, no-cost time extensions for Grantees, and for the closeout of grants. Starting compensation for this role typically salary ranges between $75,000 - $100,000 annually is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
