Bilingual Senior HRIS Training Specialist

General Summary

The Senior HRIS Training Specialist will be responsible for providing HR Systems and related training. The majority of this will be focused on HR Systems and related training, however it can occasionally include other domains. The Senior Specialist will provide instructional, on-demand, video and curriculum-based training.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs to support HR systems functions, including compensation, compliance, performance management, and workforce analytics.
  • Provide quality training and development services to teammates that are proactive in scope and accessible in nature.
  • Respond to teammates and vendors with courtesy, respect, and a positive outlook.
  • Develop and implement methods to assess current and future training requirements; make recommendations to management regarding program requirements and costs.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the training process, including industry research materials development, program delivery, student testing and assessment.
  • Work cooperatively with the project teams to ensure business goals are being achieved.
  • Maintain a positive classroom environment for teammates, to support the learning experience.
  • Maintain work activity reports, training profiles, and submit reports as required.
  • Complete special projects and perform related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, IT or other related field required and 5 - 7 years of relevant experience required.
  • In lieu of degree, high school diploma or GED and 6-8 years of relevant experience and 4 - 6 years of training experience is required.
  • Four (4) to Six (6) years of experience in the delivery of training programs, experience in human resources is preferred.
  • Bilingual in French-Canadian with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Knowledge of Workday and/or UKG Dimensions strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of ADP, Dell Boomi, and/or Microsoft Power Suite (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) a plus.
  • Experience in methods and techniques of adult education with demonstrated success.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and abilities, strong independent decision-making ability a must.
  • Expert process and project management skills required.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Strong team player.
  • Minimal travel required.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements

  4. Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  5. Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 8 hours per day.
  6. Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

General office environment that is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available.
