The Business Management Department (BMD) is excited to offer a variety of summer internships amongst its six divisions. The BMD is comprised of professionals in finance, contracts, project management and business systems who work collectively to provide efficient and effective operations and business services that exceed customer expectations and an assurance system that safeguards the lab's operational integrity. BMD's six divisions work as a team to ensure the lab's nationally important mission as DOE's premier nuclear lab within a complex of 17 national labs.

You will work in one of the following divisions within the BMD:

* Financial Operations

* Financial Planning and Analysis

* Project Management Office

* Acquisition & Contract Management

* Business Systems

* Performance Management

This team works a 9x80 schedule onsite at our Engineering Research Office Building facility.

Qualifications


  • Undergraduate junior - senior or Master degree student enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Business Analytics, Accounting, Contract Management, Construction Management, Marketing, Business, MBA, MACC, or another closely related field



  • A minimum overall 3.0 GPA



  • Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)

Compensation and Benefits:




  • Undergraduate Internships ($25.65/hour - $30.70/hour)



  • Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($31.75/hour - $34.06/hour)



  • PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($33.75/hour - $36.06/hour)



  • Eligible interns are provided paid holiday time off, and many of our internships offer travel reimbursements.



  • Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on degree field and level of education.
