Job Summary

As Site Support (Warehouse Associate) your focus will be on receiving, stocking, picking, packing orders along with delivering product directly to our customers in the Egg Harbor, New Jersey area. Days may be spent supporting branch operations on-site with the customer, delivering product, filling vending machines, problem solving and at the processing customer orders and counting inventory at the branch.

You'll be responsible for covering all their service needs and resolving any issues that may arise. Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction as well as following all specific on-site guidelines. This position requires front-line analysis and resolution where appropriate, calling on and utilizing all available Stellar resources as needed.

Major responsibilities and expectations:

More specifically, it is the responsibility of the Site Support person to:



  • Ensures delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of orders, communication, and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquiries

    • Be the first point of customer contact for general inquiries about orders, scheduling, delivery of product, etc.
    • Adeptly handle all customer inquiries and requests
    • Accurately enter quotes and orders using ERP system (Prophet 21)
    • Learn, understand, and utilize the automated or semi-automated systems and processes put in place by our Solutions team, including vending machines, wireless warehouse, and other related processes and systems
    • Expedite all open quotes and orders with urgency and accuracy
    • Check on inventory specific to the customer, ensuring that all Min/Max levels and safety stock are adequate
    • Focus on customer specific requirements


  • Act as a liaison between Account Managers, Specialists, Customer Experience Managers and other departments as needed
  • Efficiently and accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders:

    • Understand basic ERP system (Prophet 21) order entry and transfer entry functions
    • Use the ERP system and WWMS (Wireless Warehouse Management System) to pick orders and transfers
    • Pack orders and transfers for shipping, with appropriate paperwork and labeling
    • Prepare and ship orders using ERP system and shipper systems (UPS, FedEx, etc.), using customer specific instructions


  • Accurately receive, put stock away and cycle count inventory:

    • Understand basic Purchase Order (PO) Entry function to record receipt of PO and transfer items
    • Put stock away in assigned warehouse locations using a handheld scanner
    • Process problem shipments and communicate with proper departments including

      • Freight claims
      • Supplier short or damaged shipments


    • Perform cycle counts based on branch commitments


  • Handle warehouse and inventory functions on-site at a customer's location:

    • Learn and understand how to use vending systems (CribMaster/Supply Pro/Autocrib) as well as Stellar's Hand-held Bin Management System (HHBM)
    • Stock and maintain inventory levels on-site per customer contract


  • Engage in continual learning of all Stellar service, programs, processes and product offerings
  • Follow all customer guidelines and procedures as it pertains to your position

    • Follow all on-site safety and emergency procedures
    • Stay current on all required training and certifications

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



  • Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to connect positively with customers and others
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently are essential
  • Demonstrates attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs on a consistent basis, and 50lbs on occasion
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk up to 8 hours a day, as well as frequently reach out and overhead with arms and hands
  • Positive attitude



Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent



Experience



  • 1-3 years of relevant warehouse, inventory, delivery, or customer service-related experience
