This hybrid position requires a minimum of 3 days per week in our Shakopee MN office. No relocation funds or sponsorship opportunity is available.

Position Summary:

The Salesforce Administrator plays a crucial role in the development, customization, and maintenance of Salesforce-based applications to support various business processes. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand their requirements, designing solutions, and implementing them within the Salesforce ecosystem. The Salesforce Administrator will organize, analyze, and improve Salesforce CRM data

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Data Management and Quality:



  • Manage all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, and public groups to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity within Salesforce by designing and implementing data models, validation rules, and data migration strategies.
  • Perform data management tasks, including data imports, deduplication, and ongoing data maintenance.


Solution Design and Development:



  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges and translate them into actionable Salesforce solutions.
  • Customize, implement and manage Salesforce automation, including Salesforce objects, fields, layouts, workflows, process builder, and approval processes ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.


Testing and Documentation:



  • Perform unit test to ensure the reliability and performance of custom solutions for quality assurance best practices.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation for custom code, configurations, and integrations to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.


User Support and Release Management:



  • Own the release management process, including migration of changes between environments and ensuring smooth deployment to production.
  • Provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot issues, and offer training and guidance to improve user adoption.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, escalating to Salesforce support as needed.
  • Support user training to ensure proper adoption of Salesforce functionality and new features.


Additional Responsibilities:



  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices, and implement relevant enhancements to optimize our Salesforce instance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Mandatory Qualifications:



  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required
  • 3+ years of experience as Salesforce Administrator or similar CRM software
  • Strong understanding of the customary Salesforce data architecture and data relationship capabilities and limitations
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration
  • Strong organizational skills and a proven history of responsibility and follow-through in resolving technical issues.
  • Experience working in Sandbox environments and utilizing Change Sets.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Project Management experience
  • Fast and accurate data cleaning skills with strong attention to detail
  • Skilled at managing large, complex, and/or multiple projects with tight deadlines, interdependencies, and drive alignment and execution across groups in a face paced environment.
  • Ability to identify opportunity, plan and manage backlog functionality requests.


The national pay range for this role is $65,000- $90,000 year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
