OverviewWorldwide Incentive Compensation (WWIC) is the team at Microsoft that is responsible for the design, implementation and operations related to the sales and incentive plans across all of Microsoft impacting 40K+ employees. The Transformation team in WWIC is a dynamic, collaborative team that drives program management, technical design and implementation for sales planning and compensation for our Microsoft sellers. We are looking for an experienced Business Program Manager to be a Senior WWIC Program Manager that owns, leads and manages the end-to-end workstreams for WWIC related to changes both in year and for future fiscal year for incentive compensation programs at Microsoft. Working with various teams across WWIC and our stakeholders in HR, finance, planning and operations, you will help ensure successful change workflow for our compensation systems and correctly in alignment with the defined policies. Responsibilities will include:Define, own and execute the WWIC Change Council process to ensure all incentive compensation changes are captured and actioned uponEnsure alignment with existing change windows and milestones, provide centralized updates on status of changes, next steps, risks and ownersHelp connect the dots across changes that may have an impact or dependency on other changes. This includes anticipating needs for the future and identifying the right Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to assist with changes, including partnering with the change management functional leads across WWICServe as SME for compensation needs and systems to enable successful changes into existing Microsoft standards and philosophy; awareness of impact and dependencies across wider Microsoft teams to ensure WWIC needs are documented and factored
ResponsibilitiesOversees a portfolio of projects including the project plan, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics, and/or resource needs for crucial programs. Drives the definition of the vision and strategy for change, broad and specific impact, and the flow of communication to the organization. Ensures buy in and adoption of the new program or change by others in the organization.Communicates the program status and risk to relevant stakeholders and holds them accountable for following the established schedule, risk mitigation plans, and processes. Drives the collaboration and leverages other teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales) to ensure program processes are rigorous and executed efficiently. Drives others to develop the collateral required to enable key stakeholders and others to be onboard. Acts as subject matter expert to drive others to understand mapping or how systems work and impact one another. Develops processes around scope and scheduled changes for programs impacting Microsoft and communicates it to stakeholders. Recognizes process gaps/inefficiencies and drives strategies for optimization.Establishes objectives and success criteria for the project in an inclusive collaborative manner with all stakeholders.Embody our culture and values
