Our Windows, Browser and Devices Privacy Team is responsible for preserving customer trust by ensuring transparency and enhanced privacy control. As part of the Windows, Browser, Devices Privacy team, Senior Privacy Program Manager will collaborate across divisions to ensure product development is in line with regulatory guidelines. In this role, you will ensure compliance with privacy requirements for Windows and devices releases, managing Privacy incidents, creating regulatory artifacts such as data protection impact assessments, and more. ResponsibilitiesConduct privacy reviews and impact assessments to evaluate the impact of new projects or systems and ensure compliance with Microsoft Privacy Standards and regulations such as GDPR. Develop and maintain privacy documentation in compliance with relevant laws and regulationsMonitor data protection activities and ensure that data handling, storage, and sharing practices align with privacy laws like General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), etc.Organize and lead training programs for product teams on data protection regulations and internal privacy protocols.Manage privacy incidents by leading incident response plan, reporting and communicating with all relevant stakeholdersCollaborate with legal and compliance teams: Work closely with the legal team to review contracts and vendor agreements to ensure compliance with data protection laws.Maintain critical artifacts such as Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) to ensure accurate documentation of the organization's data processing activities.Ensure privacy by design by integrating privacy considerations into the development of new products and services.Stay updated on changing data protection laws and industry practices, ensuring the organization remains compliant.Conduct regular assessments to review the privacy controls, systems, and processes to ensure ongoing compliance.Serve as a liaison with the tooling team to manage privacy tools so they help enhance data protection and privacy management within the organization.Embody our Culture and Values
