Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products Division is seeking qualified professionals to consider for the Operations Maintenance Coordinator position supporting the Paper Department with the Brewton Mill. The successful candidate will be the leader of overall asset care (practices, principles, and discipline) for the mill's PM2 Board Machine. This role provides strategic direction to the area through the application of the Principle Based Management (PBM) framework and our Guiding Principles. Our Team The Brewton mill is located in south central Alabama about an hour from Mobile, AL, Pensacola, FL, and the beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast. The team is made up of 450 employees who produce white top linerboard and solid bleached sulfate (SBS) paperboard. The SBS material is used to make GP's Dixie plates. White top linerboard is used in production of corrugated containers and displays. This position is an opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding organization with tremendous growth potential. The most recent $160M capital investment is expected to be completed in late 2024. Learn more about our Brewton facility and employees here: We Are: Brewton What You Will Do * Drive the AMWP (Asset Maintenance Work Process) as it pertains to your machine. * Provide maintenance scheduling guidance to facilitate work order prioritization and planning * Support operations to ensure prompt completion of projects * Communicate plans for executing weekly and cycle outage maintenance * Participate in the development of long-term reliability and asset strategies * Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, performance leader, maintenance team members, and department leaders on critical equipment strategies * Providing technical support on both capital and non-capital projects * Key member of the operations team that works closely with maintenance for timing of repairs * Work collaboratively with Operations and Maintenance to prioritize value-added work * Plan, schedule and coordinate reliability outages * Lead pre-planning meetings and post shutdown audit * Equipment troubleshooting * Root Cause analysis: finding and resolving organizational issues that lead to premature equipment failure by utilizing strong interview skills and attention to detail * Gap analysis and the development of improvement plans * Equipment benchmarking * Develop Risk Mitigation Plans for all High-Risk Tasks * Provide Maintenance scheduling guidance * Ensure Maintenance Work Orders are complete and closed. * Assist PM1 OMC as needed to provide proper coverage and meeting cadences are maintained. * Assist with Planned Preventative Maintenance coordination for asset health and reliability * Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, performance leader, maintenance team members, and department leaders on critical equipment strategies * Ensure reliability activities are scheduled, based on resource availability and priority Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Five or more years of experience working within a manufacturing operation * Two or more years of reliability or preventative maintenance experience * Experience leading and facilitating meetings * Experience using a CMMS (computer maintenance management system) What Will Put You Ahead * Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering or related technical field * Experience within a mechanical or electrical maintenance role * Experience within a pulp and paper manufacturing facility * Experience using Microsoft Project and SAP At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
