Job Overview

TheAccount Manager is the primary contact for the customers to acquire solutions on all challenges involving Komatsu. The position spends the majority of time, 80%, onsite with the customer.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a positive, professional relationship with all levels of customer's employees at designated accounts. This includes corporate roles and functions.
  • Actively promote, integrate and manage all products, contract and technical services currently offered by Komatsu. This includes planning, forecasting, business activity and logistics.
  • Assist customers to improve their bottom line through cost saving measures, continuous improvement and innovative updates.
  • Document and review warranty claims with customers.
  • Document and review CEP items with customers.
  • Ensure safe practices and the adherence to Cardinal Rules through safety observations, and safety meetings.
  • Responsible for meeting sales goals as budgeted and maintaining margins while working to resolve accounting issues and past due notices.
  • Provide technical assistance. Interpret drawings and communicate information to the customer.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education and Experience:College degree in related field or a minimum of 5 years sales experience in mining or heavy equipment OEM environment.

Training and Skill Sets: Working knowledge of mining operations and industry. Strong knowledge of computers and software to include ability to write contracts, RFQ's and SCA's. Highly motivated, strong verbal and written communications skills, able to adapt to changing work environments, and possess very strong inter-personal skills.
