We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of leave administration, HR compliance, immigration, vendor management, and HR operations activities. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Leave Management:

  • Coordinate with CareDx leave management vendor administer all aspects of leave programs including sick leave, vacation, parental leave, and other types of leave.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for leave-related inquiries from employees, managers and HRBPs.
  • Partners with CareDx leave management vender with on-going leave cases and administration activities.

HR Compliance:

  • Assist with administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
  • Partners with CareDx SOX internal and external teams regarding requests and or processes.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel as needed to address compliance issues.

Immigration:

  • Assist with immigration processes for employees, including visa applications, work permits, and residency permits.
  • Liaise with immigration vendor and legal counsel to ensure compliance with immigration laws.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for immigration related inquiries from employees, managers and HRBPs.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors related to HR operations, such as leave administration software and immigration providers.
  • Ensure that vendors deliver high-quality services and meet contractual obligations.

HR Operations:

  • Handle data updates in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of employee records.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and system setup. Including coordination and leading employee's new hire orientation.
  • Process terminations, including conducting exit interviews and coordinating offboarding tasks.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding the organization's processes, policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conducts ongoing information and training sessions to develop employees and provide support and problem resolution.
  • Coordinates distribution/communication of projects including but not limited to Employee Policy handbook, 401(k) open enrollment, and employee recognition.
  • Identifies potential employee-relations issues and makes recommendations to management.

Other duties Assigned:

  • Handle tracking of HR operations invoices which includes creating and submitting PO and invoices for payment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations, with a focus on leave administration.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements, particularly related to leave management and immigration.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and overseeing third-party service providers.
  • Strong proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP WFN preferred) and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
